Narayanapura Dam, Gulbarga, Karnataka India

 The Narayanpur Dam is located in Gulbarga District of Karnataka. It involved the construction of an earthen dam which involved 9,00,000 cu.m. of embankment, non-overflow masonry dam, 25 blocks of main spillway and 5 blocks of additional spillway. In addition 2,50,000 cu.m. of pre-chilled concrete were poured. A creditable achievement was casting of the deck slab for the bridge at a rate of one span per week.  

Located in Gulbarga District of Karnataka, the Narayanpur Dam stands on River Krishna. The construction of Narayanpur Dam was done in the form of earthen dam, which included 9,00,000 cubic meters of embankment, non-overflow masonry dam, 5 blocks of additional spillway and 25 blocks of main spillway. Moreover, 2,50,000 cubic meters of pre-chilled concrete were poured to make a flawless construction.
