Mohiyudeen Mosque is one of the oldest mosques in Lakshadweep that was constructed during the 16th century. Situated amidst the groves of palms and superbly intricate carved tombstones in which some are even as old as the mosque itself, the mosque appears an example of spectacular masterwork. Enchanting and peaceful environs of the mosque premises tune up the soul of human body to the invisible and supernatural almighty. Built in the traditional style that resembles the art work of the Malabar Temple, the mosque doesn’t have even a minaret. A huge well and a tank are also located inside the premises.
