It is the prime attraction in Kaziranga that covers an area of 430 sq km. This national park is acclaimed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. From all over the country, a large number of travelers come to visit the park which is a dwell of two-third of the world's Great One-horned Rhinoceros population. This national park is also recognized as important Bird Area by Birdlife International. So must visit the national park to see its amazing wildlife. Travelers who are planning to visit the park can witness almost 42 species of fish which also includes the rare Ganges dolphin, Bagarius bagarius and Channa marulius among others. Here travelers can also spot seven species of vultures which includes Indian vulture, slender-billed vulture, and Indian white-rumped vulture. Here you can see the monopoly in the park which includes of sloth Bears, Wild Indian Elephants, Swamp Deer or Barasingha, Indian Bison, Hog Deer, Leopard Cats, Tigers, Jungle Cats, Otters, Hog Badgers, Capped Langurs, Wild Boar, Hoolock Gibbons, Jackal, Wild Buffalo, Pythons and Monitor Lizards.
