Diphu by Road:


You can opt to travel to the town of Diphu through buses that run within the state from many important locations to the town of Diphu. These buses ply from Guwahati and Dimapur, and also from nearby destinations like Hojai and Tezpur. Buses in this route are few, and they will charge fares of around Rs 180 to 200, for the trip which spans over 271 kilometers overall. Buses can be quite uncomfortable to travel in, especially for tourists who are not used to bus travel.

Diphu by Train:


Trains can be taken to the local railway station located in the town, although this railway station only has trains to all nearby regions in the state and in nearby states. Major trains do not pass through this station. Trains to Diphu will be available from the city of New Delhi, and also from Guwahati, Dibrugarh, Amritsat, Jorhat, Dimapur, Chennai and Tinsukhia.
