Dhoula Wali Mata Religious Centre, Kathua, Jammu & Kashmir India

Dhoula Wali Mata, a religious centre in the Kathua District, is located at a height of around 6,000 ft above sea level. This shrine is situated about 10 km away from the Jodia Di Mata temple and can be easily reached from the trekking base camps at Katli, Bhoond, Banhore and Mahanpur. It is famous for the Navratra festivals celebrated in the months of April and October.

The people of the region believe that once a shepherd dreamt of Goddess Dhoula Wali Mata and came to Mandhi Dhar where he saw the goddess in the form of a little girl. After this incident, the shepherd built a temple for Goddess Dhoula Wali Mata at this site.
