A very ancient temple founded around 1150 years ago, Devi Barghobhima Temple is believed as one of the 51 Shakti Peethas. The legend goes like the small finger of left feet of Sati fell here, after cutting the divine body of Goddess Sati into various pieces by Lord Vishnu.
