Arunachal Pradesh has emerged as a major apple-growing state in the north-east India. This state grows apple in 8400 ha and produces 9500 tones apples. A beautiful town Tipi, near Bomdila is Asia's largest orchidarium. There is an Orchid Research Centre as well which is located in the West Kameng district. This stunning Orchid centre is situated on the bank of river Bharali, surrounded by evergreen forest has more than 500 species of orchids. The apple orchards of Bomdila are quite famous among the tourists. The view of the garden fascinates people and makes them visit this place every time they plan a trip to Bomdila.
Apple Orchards, famous for its huge trees laden with apple fruits, is one of the major attractions for tourists visiting Bomdila and that too especially during winters. The orchards are immensely filled with fruits during winters, as nature is at its best during this time in the region.
