It is very famous for Ziarat Baba Reshi, a famous memorial of saint Baba payam-Din, just 13 Kms from Gulmarg. This sacred place is located on the slopes in Baramulla. It is a shrine of Baba Reshi, who was a famous Muslim saint and the shrine was built in his memory in 1480. It is believed that the Baba spent his time in prayers and meditation here. The grave is covered with a chaddar of wonderful workmanship. The devotees come in quest of a boon and if their boon gets granted then the devotees revisit the memorial to present their grateful offerings in the memory of the saint.
