Triveni, Bhilwara, Rajasthan India

Triveni is a sangam (meeting point) of rivers where 3 rivers named Banas, Menal, Badachh. Its about 40 km from the city of Bhilwara. This is situated near the mandalgarh town.

Menal is a famous picnic around this area. In a rainy seasion huge people come here. Along the coast of sangam an ancient temple dedicated to Lord Shiva submerged under water during the rainy season. People comes here to take a holy dip on occasions Amawas and Poornima in the months of Magh and Kartik.

The water of this confluence is considered holy by the people who visit here to take a dip on the occasion of the Purnima (the full moon day), Amavas (the new moon day) in the months of Kartik (October/November) and Magh (January/February). A huge fair is organised here during the Shivratri Festival.
