Roing, the only town in Lower Dibang Valley of Arunachal Pradesh, is the administrative headquarters of the district. The nearest airports to Roing are Chabua(138 kms), Mohanbari(148 kms) and Guwahati (500 kms). The nearest railway station is 113 kms away at Tinsukia.
