Located 45 km from Raipur is Triveni Sangam, the holy confluence of the three rivers of Mahanadi, Pairi and Sondur. Rajim is also noted for its rich cultural heritage. The town is home to some of the most beautiful temples in India. Many are supported by twelve towered columns embroidered with stone carvings bearing the faces of the various gods of Hindu mythology. Kuleshvara Mahadeva Mandir is a statue of Lord Buddha in a meditative position, carved out of black stone under a Bodhi tree.
