Champaran is one of the famous religious destinations of the city and is situated at a distance of 60 Kms from Raipur. Being the place of birth of the Saint Vallabhacharya, the reformer and creator of the Vallabh Sect, it holds huge religious importance. Champaran houses a temple which was made in the honour of Saint Vallabhacharya. Champakeshwara Mahadeva temple is a nearby attraction of this temple.
