How to Reach Rajauri, India
Rajauri by Road:
One can reach the town of Rajauri from Jammu easily using buses that are available from the main bus stand at Jammu. They depart frequently from 5 AM onwards up till 3 PM. Buses are inexpensive and tickets cost between Rs 100 and 150. Video coaches are available as well.
Rajauri by Train:
Jammu station is well connected to Delhi by rail.
Rajauri by Air:
The closest airport is located at Jammu and it might be the most viable option for those who are arriving by air. The Srinagar airport has good connectivity to many places and there are frequent schedules flights from Delhi, Mumbai, Jammu, Goa, and Leh. Some operators offer flights from Srinagar as well. Taxis can be hired from the airport and these cost around Rs 7 per km for a non A/C sedan such as Tata Indica, which can carry up to four people.
