The most stunning spot in Mahabaleshwar might be the Lodwick Point. This is also known as the Sidney Point previously. An isolated supercilious cliff that stood in the midst of two deep gorges, Sidney point or Lodwick Point brings out the charisma of the surrounding mountain peaks to its entirety. The winding pathway goes through tiny but dense forests which leads to it, is well suited for carriage drives. When compared to other points of this hill station, this point offers narrower views of the surroundings. But Lodwick point offers an amazing view of Elphinstone point and Pratapgad which cannot be better viewed from anywhere else. A twenty five feet high column erected in memory of the late general Lodwick is the chief attraction of this point.
