Dhobi Waterfall is an enchanting locale located at a distance of 3 km from Mahabaleshwar. Water falls from a great height into the Koyna Valley and finally meets the Koyna River in a majestic fashion. It is a newly developing picnic spot. Thoseghar is really a wonderful place where one can enjoy the beauty of the nature. July to November is the best season to visit Thoseghar. Dark woods and a clean lake add to the beauty of this hilly region. There are also other small waterfalls here, which are about 15-20 meters high. The highest one is of around 500 meters. Satara is on the Pune - Bangalore Highway, and is about 115 km from Pune.
