There's an Ashram in Naya Bazar locality of Buxar town where a Sita Ram Vivah Mahotsava (marriage function) is held every year in the month of November. Famous as 'Siya Piya Milan', the event is attended by a large number of saints and devotees from across the country. A 'Panch Koshi Mela', also known as 'Litti-Chokha Mela', is also organised at Buxar this month every year.
