Kaleshwar Mahadev Temple is situated at a distance about 8 km from the parish of Paragpur within the Kangra district. Lord Shiva is worshipped here. It has a unique architecture. The Shiva lingam of the temple is beneath the ground level. Therefore it is one of the must see excursions from Kangra.

Situated around 8 km from Paragpur village, the Kaleshwar Mahadev Temple is a popular temple in the Kangra district. An ancient structure, dedicated to lord Shiva, the temple is extremely popular for its lingam which is place much below the ground level.

Also known as Maha Rudra of Mata Chintapurni, the walls of the temples are adorned with beautiful sculptures and is covered with ancient tombs.
