The best way to get around Panaji is to take an auto rickshaw. These are freely available at the rickshaw stands and plying the roads. Private taxis can be hired for either half day or full day, at fixed rates. The bus service is limited mainly to the beaches of Dona Paula and Miramar. Motorcycles and cycles can be hired for the day and riding pillion on a motorcycle taxi is a popular transport option all over Goa.
