Govt. run State Road Transportation of J&K (J&K SRTC) connects major towns and cities to Arnia by bus – especially from Jammu, Udhampur and Srinagar. Between Jammu and Arnia or Srinagar and Arnia bus fare could range between Rs. 150 and Rs. 300 respectively per head. Private buses are also available to Arnia from various big towns such as Udhampur, Jammu and Srinagar.
Arnia may be approached from Chak Gouriyan, Samba and Jammu by road.
Jammu Tawi Railway Station is the nearest rail head to Arnia. Jammu is connected to other parts of country on broad gauge. Several passenger trains ply from various parts of the country to Jammu and one can reach Jammu overnight from New Delhi. Just outside the Jammu Railway Station, State-run buses and private buses and taxis are available to transport tourists to Arnia. Jammu is about 25 kms away from Arnia and takes 1 hour to reach by road.
The nearest airport to Arnia is in Jammu – Jammu Satwari Airport (IXJ). In order to reach Arnia by flight, travelers are to take a flight from Delhi to Jammu which could take between one and a half hours to 3 hours depending on the aircraft and once in Jammu, taxis or J&K TDC buses and private buses could be taken to travel to Arnia in about 30 minutes as it is about 10 kms from Jammu Airport.
