Colva Beach, Cavelossim-Mobor, Goa India

Colva Beach is a sandy beach, which is situated in the South Goa District. Measuring 24 km, it is considered to be one of the longest beaches in the world. This beach is usually very crowded in October, during the pilgrimage season at the Colva Church. It has beach shacks, budget hotels, small restaurants, bars, food stalls and shops. This beach is approximately 8 km from Margao and 40 km from the capital city Panaji. The nearby railway station from this beach is located at Margao, which is connected with several important destinations in India. Colva Beach is an ideal destination for the spending weekend and playing beach volleyball.
