Chapel of St. Lawrence, Candolim Beach, Goa India

The Chapel of St. Lawrence was extensively rebuilt in the late 18th century. Further modifications were made in the late 19th century. The latest stage in the architectural evolution of the Chapel was in 2001 when the nave (the central approach from the main door to the altar) was widened. More recently in 2009 it underwent a cosmetic makeover with the replastering and painting of its façade.
