Set amid deodar woods and snow capped mountains, Chandika Devi Temple is located in the village of Kothi located at a distance of 3 kms from Reckong Peo, Himachal Pradesh. Devoted to Goddess Chandika who is revered and worshiped by the locals with great respect, it is believed that she was the daughter of Banasur, the demon who ruled over Kinnaur.
