It is a small village in Gaunaha, 28 Kms far from the city. The history goes; Mahatma Gandhi initiated his freedom movement here which was popular as 'Champaran Satyagraha'. The village has a hut which is called as Ashram and has become a tourist destination of Gandhian pilgrimage.
