BaraPathar is 4 km from General Post Office, Dalhousie enroute Kalatope. Amidst thick woods is the small temple of Bhulwani Mata Temple (4 Kms) or also called Bhavani Mata temple in the village of Ahla on the way to kalatope. A fair celebrated in July venerates the goddess. Main seat of Bhulwanimata is at Dainkund but in the month of July her idol is brought to Barapathar where a fair is celebrated by the local people.

BarapatharBaraPathar is a Temple on the way between the Kalatope sanctuary and the Dalhousie Municipal limits. This temple is hardly 60 metres ahead of the Dalhousie water works. The temple is set amidst thick and fragrant forest. It is a good place for a break on the way to Kalatope. Here you can experience the scent of cool breeze during the hot summer days. Bara Pathar has a Potato Farm also.
