Thangal Para is 5 km away from the Vagamon on the way to Elappara route. It has a Durgah for Muslims which is the place of Husrath Sheikh Fariduddin Baba, a Sufi saint who reached to Kerala from Afghanistan before 800 years. In this durgah they provide a tasty sweet Ganjusakkar to devotees. And uroos festival is conducted during the April month.
