The Ranamandala Konda is a historical place in Adoni which houses the temple of Lord Hanuman. There is a lake nearby which is known as Ramjal Lake. This lake is a straight tributary of Tungabhadra River and is source of the entire drinking water system for the Adoni Town. The Ramji Lake is also an important place for water bird lovers who throng here for bird watching. As per the legend Ramji Lake is believed to have been formed from the arrow shot by Lord Rama so as to quench the thirst of Sita during their exile.
Ranamandala Konda is a famous attraction, which houses a temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman. This place also has Ramajal Lake, which is famous among birdwatchers. It is believed that Lord Rama shot an arrow to provide water to Goddess Sita during their exile that led to the formation of this lake. The water of the lake is also used for drinking purpose by the natives of the destination.
