Sai Baba Temple, Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh India

The Shirdi Sai Baba Temple, which was constructed 70 year back, is a unique site. It is one of the biggest Sai Baba temples, spread across an area of 1.5 acres. The temple was constructed by a washer man on the banks of the River Tungabhadra. It is shaped like a star. Prayers are offered to the Baba every morning and evening, and Arti is conducted. Devotees from far and wide come to be a part of the Arti. The temple also houses the idols of Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Hanuman within it. The atmosphere of the temple is cool and serene.

Although the temple can be visited at all times, the best time to visit it is the morning and evening time when the prayers are conducted and the breeze from the river makes the place extremely pleasant. One can also meditate in the huge meditation hall with a capacity of around 800 people. The temple is located very close to the Konda Reddy Buruju; hence it is easily accessible as well.
