Moira is a Village in Bardez Taluk in North Goa District of Goa State, India. It is located 13 KM towards North from District head quarters Panaji. 6 KM from Bardez. 12 KM from State capital Panaji. Moira village is situated at a distance of about 4.3 km away from the Mapusa town. The village is known for its production of bananas which are exported to different countries via Goa’s seaport. Bananas are known as ‘mundollchim kellim’ in the Konakani language. A popular parish church is situated in Moira.
