Kowdiar Palace in Trivandrum, Kerala, India was built in 1915 by Sree Moolam Thirunal and was gifted to Sethu Parvati Bayi. It is the official residence of the Travancore Royal Family. The Kowdiar Palace was the home of the late Maharaja Sree Chitra Thirunal Balarama Varma and his family. Presently, the descendants of the royal king reside here. Public are not permitted to enter the palace, but can view this grand old building from the gate.
