Kelva Beach is located near Palghar, Dist. Thane. Kelva beach stretches nearly 7 KMS along the coastline of Arabian Sea, surround by thousands of suru trees and a typical rustic courtryside. Also known as Kelwe Beach.

A walk along Kelwa Beach, with a visit to nearby Kelva fort and Sitaladevi Temple forms a pleasant experience. A number of facilities are provided for a comfortable stay, food and games in nearby resorts and hotels. Tourists can choose to stay in canvas tents, bamboo cottages; eat local sea food or continental cuisines and enjoy beach sports, horse rides and swimming. The beach is 140 km away from the heart of Mumbai city and is frequented on weekends by people from Mumbai, Thane, Valsad, etc.
