Come rains and think of any quick outing. Jamboti is a place that offers about a dozen options – be it hiking, waterfalls, thick and scary jungle, bird watch and wildlife or plane exotic scenic beauty – the place has it all within 15-20 km radius. Unfortunately, it has not been developed as a tourist destination. There are hardly any facilities for food and accommodation. Forest rest houses are available at couple of places. Camping in the tents is quite a popular option if one is willing to carry the necessary equipment.
Jamboti resides in the midst of Sahyadri Hills. It is the thickest regions in the Wester Ghats after Konkan belt. The place is very convenient from Belgaum, where one can have an amazing fun and return back in about 8-10 hrs. Private vehicles, preferably 4 wheelers and motorbikes are extremely popular.
