International Doll's Museum, which is also known as Shankar  International Dolls Museum, is located at Bahdur Shah Zafar Marg in  Delhi. Being established by famous political cartoonist K Shankar Pillai   the International Doll's Museum has a collection of 6,000 dolls from  over 85 countries. The International Doll's Museum of Delhi having an  area of about 5,184.5 square feet, is situated near the Pragati Maidan.  It attracts people from far and wide and is a great attraction for the  children.  
Almost one third of the collection of the International Doll's Museum in  Delhi is collected from all over India. The dolls are made to wear the  traditional clothing of the region, where it is made. The museum is  divided into two parts, each of which is comprises approximately 1,000  feet long wall mounted glass cases. In one part, the dolls from the  European countries, the United States of America, Australia and New  Zealand are kept. On the other hand the second part consists of Asia,  Middle East countries and Africa. The museum also has a workshop and a  doll designing center. 
The International Doll's Museum being a melting pot for different cultures, also has the option for the people to buy dolls from the museum.
