The first Gandhi memorial with seven stupas in the country was constructed here at a height of 5oo feet. This was unveiled by Dr.Zakir Hussain,the then President of India on 6th October 1968.Gandhi memorial library, sound and light show on Mahatma Gandhi's life and planetarium are the other attractions.
