108 Shiva Mandirs 4 kilometers from the rail station, is a group of 108 Siva lingam temples built in 1788, popularly known as 108 Shiva Temple. Rani Bishnukumari (Queen of Burdwan) had ordered the building of this temple. Here each year a week-long festival is celebrated on the occasion of Maha-Shivratri.
