Sateramiar Hawar, Kailashahar, Tripura India

It is situated 9 km from Kailashahar. It is said that 17 Moslems (Mia) was crossing the big water land by boat. The area was fed by water of two streams  Cherra and Bagua Cherra. The water courses of the stream met in the centre of the field. Their boat sank in the water. Since then the area was known as Sateramiar Hawar. The place was surrounded by aquatic trees earlier. The area is important for watching the migratory birds that come from Siberia during the winter months.
