Ramjew Temple one of the ancient temples of Haldia was found by Rani Janaki Devi. Initially the temple featured beautiful sculptures of Lord Rama her wife Sita Lakshman accompanied by Hanuman. The idols went missing in the unfortunate event of theft that took place in 1967.Thereafter the idols of deity in brass were established in the shrine. The main temple has an elevation of 90 ft that is also known as Dewan House. Behind the temple there is a Dubey Palace.
