One of the famous attractions of Thiruchendur, Panchalamkurichi Fort is also known as Kattabomman Memorial Fort and is located close to Thiruchendur at Salikulam. It is believed that the Fort was built by the famous Panchalamkurichi King Veera Pandya Kattabomman in the 18th century.
