Lakhani Devi Mandir is an ancient temple situated at Ratanpur, about 25 km from Bilaspur, in Chhattisgarh. The temple is situated on a hill amid lush green vegetation.
The temple enshrines Goddess Lakhani Devi as the presiding deity. Built in the 13th century the construction of the temple is in the shape of a classical Pushpak Vimaan (a flying chariot).
This temple was built by Maratha king Shivaji Rao Bhonsle. Steep but motorable road leads you to this famous temple, which is just about three kms from Ratanpur. The other statues that you can see in this temple are of Lord Vishnu and Kaal Bhairav. This temple has a great historical as well as archeological value.
