The town of Lunglei is also known as the second capital of the state, and true to its stature, it is well connected to all other towns and villages within the state. Buses remain the locally preferred mode of transport, and these can be taken in order to reach Lunglei. You can also opt for trains and flights to the nearest railway station or airport. Lunglei by Road:

Buses can be taken to the town of Lunglei from all nearby destinations including Aizawl, Zobawk and Pangzawl. The city of Aizawl is located at a distance of around 175 kilometers from Lunglei through the Sialsuk route. Buses to the town can be taken from the capital city for fares ranging around Rs 100 to Rs 120. This is an easy mode of transport, although the ride might not be too comfortable.
