The Monastery is situated near Reckong Peo in Brelengi thus it is also known as Brelengi Gompa. It was founded for assisting the Dalai Lama to perform the Kalachakra ceremony in 1992 by the Mahabodhi Society. It is one of the best and popular attraction places of Kinnuar where tourists throng in large count.
