A historical place in Kakinada known for its monuments, Adurru Village is located in Razole Taluk. The ruins of Buddhist Stupas, Chaityas and Viharas were discovered by The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) in the year of 1953. The excavation performed by ASI revealed ancient materials such as dishes, jars, bowl of kaolin and red pottery and troughs. Mahastupa is the major attraction of the place.
