Valvan is an artificial lake situated in the outskirts of Lonavala. The Valvan Dam built over Kundali and Indrayani Rivers has given rise to Valvan Lake. Situated amidst a garden and large green plain, the Valvan Lake is an ideal spot for spending a recreational evening. The dam is a major source of water for Khopali power station and a fish breeding centre is situated nearby.
