Koli Temple, Lonavala, Maharashtra India

A temple for the Koli community in Lonavala, the Koli Temple belongs to the tribal Goddess Aai Ekvira.  The Koli temple or the fishermen temple is the place of worship for the fishermen community living in and around Lonavala. The temple is also popularly named as "Aai Ekvira Temple". The principle deity of the temple is Aai Ekvira.  The goddess is believed to have some celestial powers and hence the fishermen throng the temple during the special occasions like the Navarathri.It is situated right outside the main chaitya of the Karla caves in Lonavala.
