The town of Ukhrul is situated at a distance of around 83 degrees Celsius from the state capital of Imphal. Due to the close proximity one can easily reach the place using taxis, private vehicles and government buses.

Ukhrul by Road:

Government buses are available from the city of Imphal. However these are not reliable and they are uncomfortable. Tickets are generally cheap.

Ukhrul by Train:

- Close this If you are travelling by rail the only option is the station at Dimapur. This is located in the state of Nagaland at a distance of 300 kilometers from the town of Ukhrul. The station is connected to the city of Kolkata by two trains. Tier three A/C tickets cost between Rs 1000 and Rs 1300.

Ukhrul by Air:

The city of Imphal has the only major airport in the region and this is situated at a distance of around 8 kilometers from the city center. The airport is well connected to most of the major cities in the country and these include Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata. One can also travel to the place from other destinations such as Silchar and Aizwal. Taxis are available at the airport and they charge around Rs 900 for the trip.
