Kaas Talav or Lake is a man made lake. Its was built in 1875. This lake is a famous picnic spot because its located and surrounded by calm forests. The Kasaidevi temple is very near this lake. To the left of the lake lies Sajjangad fort and the Kanher Dam lies to the right.
The Kass lake provides drinking water to Satara city. While travailing to Kaas lake you will see Yewateshwar Temple. You will find many youngsters here in rainy season. The famous spots Bamnoli and Tapola are located near from Kass lake.
