Holy Cross Church caters to one of the smallest of the Catholic parishes in the world. Just seven families of about 25 members in all. The church is well maintained despite the fact it costs heavily for the few families. Mahableshwar, a popular hill-station in Maharashtra, receives the second highest rainfall in India and hence the maintenance cost of the church is too heavy for the few parishioners.
