Childrens Traffic Park, Nagpur, Maharashtra India

Inspired by bigger cities like New Delhi and Mumbai who maintain similar theme parks, the idea of a Children’s Traffic Park in the heart of Nagpur city was conceived by the Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) in 2008. Featuring neatly kept symbolic miniature streets and footpaths along with traffic signals, yellow pedestrian crossing lines and a huge traffic symbols display board, this Children’s Traffic Park is a great idea to educate and instill good traffic sense among children.

Evenings at this park are filled with smiling mothers with kids playing around in their tiny scooters and cars. Groups of youngsters are also hang around the many food courts located inside the park premises.
