Champhai Valley - Murlen National Park, Champhai, Mizoram

Situated at the base of Champhai Town, this fertile piece of land endowed with a wide variety of flora & fauna is right next to the border with Myanmar. Rice is the main crop cultivated within this area, offering a spectacular scene of emerald rice-fields against a backdrop of the smoky blue hills of Myanmar, when viewed from the top of the Champhai Town. Champhai is strategically a very important location as it offers a main business corridor for trade between the countries of India and Myanmar. This farthest north-east corner of India is out-of-this-World, distinctly different and a unique experience.
