Anwa Temple, Aurangabad, Maharashtra India

Anwa temple is located about 10 km from Golegaon. This is the small village near Aurangabad in Maharashtra. This temple is famous for Lord Shiva and the temple has the history dating back to the 12th century. Anwa temple consists of an open hall and also a sanctuary with many pillars well decorated. This temple is located on the road which leads to Ajanta Caves from Aurangabad. The village in which the temple is located became very famous because of Anwa temple as many people started visiting the temple everyday. Moreover the beautifully carved sculptures and well decorated pillars have attracted many tourists coming from many other places.
