Ramagundam is a town in the Karimnagar district of Andhra Pradesh and is a wonderful example of a growing and prospering India. The companies take the raw coal from this coal belt and make carbon derivatives. All in all this is one very industrial belt to visit and you will realise how a very industrial town functions the moment you are in Ramagundam. Today the factor that makes this town so very famous is not even the old Rama temple but the NTPC power plant that has changed the life of millions. It has given hope in dollops to all the people that are living in this state and helped propel a whole area into modernity.
